Obituary for Louis McClure Jr.


MASSENA – Mr. Louis P. McClure, Jr., 59, of 3 Clark Street, unexpectedly passed away Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 at his home.

Louis was born November 13, 1958 in Massachusetts, the son of the late Louis P. and Barbara (Hicks) McClure. He was a graduate of Blackston Valley Tech School in Massachusetts. After graduating, he started a heating and air conditioning business. He later moved to New York, where he started and operated B&L Mechanicals. He later worked for the railroad, where he worked on trains and traveled the country. After leaving the railroad, he went to work for Massena Building Supply until its closure. Lou enjoyed spending time with close friends, he will be missed by many. He also enjoyed reading, doing air conditioning, and electrical work.

He is survived by many friends in the Massena area; his brother, David L. McClure and his wife, Connie; his sister, Ann M. Ambrose and her husband, Carl; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Francis B. and Connie J. McClure.
