ANNETTE GARCEAU HUTO

MASSENA ā€“ Annette (Garceau) Huto, 80, a longtime resident of Laurel Terrace, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 27, 2018 at the Highland Nursing Home.

Annette was born May 18, 1938 in Norfolk, the daughter of the late Fred J. and Anna Violet (Dillabough) Garceau and attended schools in Massena.

Annette lived and worked in the Pittsburgh area before moving back to Massena where she worked in the food court at the St. Lawrence Centre for 10 years until her retirement. Annette loved listening and dancing to country music, doing crossword puzzles, and knitting.

Annette is survived by her loving niece, Ann (Bruce) Barrett of Massena; her sister, Barbara (James) LaDue of Massena and Dade City, Florida; her niece, Sally Martell of Navarre, Florida; and several additional nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Huto in November 1989; her sisters, Mary Jane Pruner in 1987 and Elaine LaDue in 2016; and her brother, Fred W. Garceau in 2000.

At her request, there will be no services. Burial of her cremated remains will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cook Street, at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Massena Housing Authority.
