Obituary for Lowell S DeCarr




CONSTABLE – Mr. Lowell S. DeCarr, 71, of State Route 30 and formerly of Sweet Flag Estates in Rooseveltown passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at the University of Vermont Health Network – Alice Hyde Medical Center.

Lowell was born December 9, 1946 in North Bangor, the son of the late Ernest and Emma (LaMay) DeCarr. He worked at North Star Industries in Malone and was a “car buff.” He collected model cars and enjoyed reading car magazines. He also enjoyed woodworking, puzzles, and and listening to country music.

Lowell is survived by an aunt Harriet LaMay of Massena and his friends and caregivers at the Constable ICF.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Leslie and Lincoln Smith.

Friends may call Wednesday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena. A graveside service will be held Thursday 3:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Constable with Deacon Brian Dwyer, officiating.
