Condolence From: Francis
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Douglas family and friends. When we loss someone we dearly love in death the pain, grief can seem unbearable. At such time we all can find comfort from God's word.Because we receive comfort from our dear father (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) He is the loving Rescuer who has already shown that he can defeat this enemy the death. And he promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. The Bible teaches: “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” (1 Corinthians 15:26)
Our God promises that the dead will live again. (Isaiah 26:19) They will be brought back to life. That is the hope of the resurrection.
I hope and wish you find comfort and some peace in this difficult time.

Condolence From: Micah Caraballo
Condolence: I’m so sorry for the loss of this man. My condolences go out to the Douglas Family. There’s a Scripture I’d love to share that always comforted me when I lost someone close to me in death. It’s in Revelation 21:4 which says: “And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This is a promise from God that he will end death forever in the future and we will see our loved ones again!

Condolence From: Rebecca Caraballo
Condolence: Hello, my name is Rebecca. I am from the Potsdam area. I was reading this obituary of Donald Douglas and I wanted to say to the friends and family of Mr. Douglas that I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I also wanted to share a little word of encouragement that has always helped me in times of distress. A lot of people wonder where they can find help to cope with grief, and receive comfort?

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says, “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.”

So it’s nice to know that we can receive comfort form God anytime, anywhere. Thank you for letting me share my comforts.

Condolence From: The Wilkins Family
Condolence: Prayers to the Douglas family. It wasn’t a picnic at Sandy and Dells without Aunt Mary and Uncle Don. Don would always give a big smile and say “hello beautiful” when I’d see him at the hospital or around Massena. He never let his health get him down. He truly was a fighter, but he is now with his love, Mary. Keep his memories near and peace with keep you strong. God Bless
