TUPPER LAKE - Bryan Douglas Davison, (Bugs) 52, formerly of Edwards, NY passed away peacefully March 1st, 2019 at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse with his loving family by his side.

Born on August 15, 1966 in Watertown, NY to Clifford and Mabel (Allen) Davison, Bryan attended Edwards Central School then continued his education at Potsdam State and Canton ATC. He moved to Tupper Lake shortly after where he worked at the OWD factory until it’s closure. He then worked for several years at Sunmount Developmental Center.

Bryan was an avid outdoorsmen, a fierce competitor and had a heart of gold. He loved to fish, trap, hunt, and being in the great outdoors. His love for fishing has been passed down to many generations and will always be remembered. The fishing adventures, all the stories, and the good times created everlasting memories. His unique walleye catching and trapping skills were unmatched. It has been said that Bryan could catch a fish out of a mud puddle. He went out of his way to teach a child how to fish or just giving them a plastic worm to draw their interest. He truly loved to educate his nieces and nephews on all the ins and outs of fishing. He left them with a lifetime of memories.

He belonged to several hunting clubs. He loved hunting with his family on the Whitton Farms where he had a little camp of his own. He loved to watch NASCAR, local DIRTCAR series racing, playing Quickdraw, playing Foosball, had an avid green-thumb, and loved making Wine and going to the Casino.

Bryan had a tremendous will to live. Bugs lived each day to its fullest. From his first breath, his fighting spirit and exceptional drive have been an inspiration to us all. He accepted his cards and he made the absolute most of his hand. We are all so proud of him and are so fortunate to have had him with us this long. He did it his way and never minced words. He spoke it like it was.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford, mother, Mabel, and brothers Robbie and Kenny. He leaves behind his beautiful daughter Leauna, grandson Cooper, brothers and sisters Jeff, Cliff, Vernon, Billy, Sheree, Linda, Shelly and Mabel, and numerous nieces and nephews and many many worderful friends. We all will dearly miss him.

Friends may call Monday, March 4th, from 2-4:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM at the French Funeral Home, Edwards. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 5th 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Edwards with Rev. Shane M. Lynch, celebrating. Bryan will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery, Edwards, NY following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, we would ask for donations to be made to the Bob Davis Trout Lake KIDs Fishing Derby, PO BOX 192, Edwards, NY 13635 in honor of Bryan.

My heartfelt sympothy to Mr.Brayan's family and friends. I found comfort and hope by reading bellow scriptures and I hope that it will give you some comfort and hope in this difficult time.
"“There is going to be a resurrection.”—Acts 24:15"
" If a man dies, can he live again?
I will wait all the days of my compulsory service
Until my relief comes.
You will call, and I will answer you.
You will long for the work of your hands"-(Job 14:14,15)
It is very comforting to know that God promises to bring back to life countless people who have died, and he yearns to do so.

My heart is filled with sadness since your passing. It gives me comfort that you are now your in God’s loving arms. I remember the times our family came home to visit, and the times you and Cliff spent fishing at Tupper. The wonderful fish stories you both would tell when you showed us the fish you both caught. Cameras flashing to remember who caught the biggest or most fish. Wonderful memories, and laughter. Your legacy will be carried on through Leauna and Cooper. All my love Angie.
